The “Beyond all-inclusive, Beyond all-compare” Velas Resorts are making wishes come true again this year with a Pinterest contest to win a $25,000 luxury all-inclusive dream wedding at the AAA Five-Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. The prize also includes a three-night honeymoon at Casa Velas, Puerto Vallarta’s most exclusive adults-only boutique hotel and ocean club.
Included in the winning prize package is four days and three nights in a luxury ocean-front Grand Class suite at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit; a welcome dinner for up to 15 guests at Frida, one of the resort’s AAA Four Diamond Restaurants; a 50-minute couples massage in-suite; a private cruise of the Bay of Banderas aboard the resort’s luxury yacht; VIP roundtrip airport transportation, as well as a complete wedding ceremony and reception for up to 15 guests. The decorations, minister, bouquet and boutonniere, live music, wedding cake, open bar, three-course menu, DJ and lighting for the symbolic ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are part of the package. In addition, a photographic session by Dream Art, gift certificate from Diamond International, access to the spa’s hydrotherapy area, hair and makeup for the bride and a “Trash the Dress” photo session by Memories Studio top off the wedding package. The couple will receive a complimentary upgrade to the Honeymoon Suite based on availability.
All are welcome to participate in the contest by following @WeddingsbyVelas on Pinterest and then creating “The Story of Us” board with the description “Told by our friends” in the Wedding category. Couples must then pin the contest image and invite a minimum of 5 friends to pin or repin their most important moments they’ve shared with the couple to the board. Each pin must have the hashtag #TheStoryofUs. Finally, couples must visit www.velasweddings.com/thestoryofus and complete the registration form with their Pinterest username and URL of their “The Story of Us” board. The Velas Resorts Executive Committee will choose 10 finalists, based on creativity and originality of their stories, and then public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite among the finalists.
Entries must be submitted between August 15 and September 15, 2014. Public voting will occur from September 18-30, 2014, and the winners notified on October 2, 2014 via the Velas Weddings blog and Velas Weddings social media channels. Couples must hold the wedding between October 2, 2014 and October 15, 2015.
