Carissa and Seth Holman have family all over the United States, and therefore knew that a destination wedding in a beautiful place would be the perfect way to bring everyone together. It always seemed like more fun to celebrate over a longer period of time, rather than just for one day in their hometown.
The couple got married at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. It was the perfect choice for their family and friends as they were travelling with children, so having an adult only section and a family friendly section at the hotel was ideal for their guests. They also liked having Club Heaven right onsite for the late nights and after wedding party. The amenities and activities at Hard Rock made entertaining guests very easy. Whether it was beach volleyball, spending time in the pool, listening to music at the Sun Bar or dancing in Club Heaven, everyone was able to have a fantastic time.
Hard Rock Hotel has several complimentary wedding packages arranged by celebrity event designer Colin Cowie. Carissa and Seth chose the White Rosette Collection for their ceremony. Complete with a crystal shimmery beaded backdrop, the collection was a beautiful compliment to the wedding attire and the ocean view backdrop.
With five bridesmaids and four groomsmen, the couple were lucky to some of their friends be a part of their wedding day. The musicians were close friends to Carissa and Seth, who played the guitar and hand drum throughout the ceremony, adding a lovely touch to the celebration.
Entertainment was definitely a large aspect to the Holman wedding. The couple arranged for fireworks after their first kiss, and a full firework display during their first dance. The wedding reception was complete with dancers and acrobats, as well as a DJ to keep the party going all night long.
As for Carissa and Seth, their favourite memory of their beautiful wedding day was their first dance. It was the first moment they truly had to themselves to slow down and really reflect on the moments of the big day. The fireworks display around the dance floor and at the end of the song was the moment their guests knew the evening fun was about to start! The couple says their wedding day was the most incredible day of their lives. From the beautiful setting, the elegant décor, and seeing the smiles on everyones faces it couldn’t have been a more perfect day.
