Today we were on the road in the hands of our smiling tour guide Monica. It was great to see some of the island and the other properties. We saw the Villas at Stone Haven and Coco Reef. Both offer great accommodations and wedding packages.
For lunch we went to Jemma’s Tree House. This was something we were looking forward to from day one. Each time we chatted with a a local they would ask if we went to Jemma’s yet so we knew we would be in for a treat! It delivered and more. My fried fish and plantains were generous in portion and in flavour. And yes it really is a tree house next to the beautiful turquoise water.
The day ended with a sunset cruise aboard the catamaran Island Girl. Although the weather wasn’t ideal we had an amazing time sipping rum punch and dancing to calypso. Just before sunset there was a beautiful rainbow and flocks of bird flying home for the night. The end of another beautiful day in Tobago.
