The historic Fairmont Royal Pavilion, Barbados proudly unveils a newly renovated Palm Terrace Restaurant. The revamped menu has been thoughtfully curated to perfectly marry the unique flavours of the Caribbean with the time honored technique of charcoal grilling. The bar and lounge area has also been refurbished with accents of wood and marble and offers a stunning collection of wines to accompany the range of dishes from delicate to robust, in addition to both a mocktail and cocktail list.
The grill inspired “pop-up” restaurant has now been transformed by elegant shades of cream, coral and navy blue with freshly planted palms and magnificent greenery to enhance its stunning oceanside location. Serving dinner from Wednesday to Sunday weekly, the new restaurant opens its doors for dinner service on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019.
Both hotel guests and locals alike are invited to enjoy the new menu which offers popular and unique cuts of fish and meat, including the special 32oz Tomahawk steak (share portion), 16oz prime rib eye, wood fired shrimp or the uniquely spiced lamb chop, grilled to perfection in a Josper oven.
Old Barbadian favorites such as macaroni pie are also featured on the new menu by renowned local Chef David Yarde. Vegan and vegetarian dishes such as ash roasted sweet potato with pumpkin seeds and chili honey butter, lemon infused cauliflower steaks and wood fired baby carrots in a vadouvan and pine nut sauce are sure to impress.
Sitting in a prominent position overlooking the azure waters of the Caribbean, Palm Terrace is poised to become the West Coast’s premier oceanfront restaurant.
