Menguin helps to support marine conservation

Menguin
Starting today World Penguin Day, leading online tuxedo rental company Menguin will partner with ocean conservation organization Oceana to help grooms not only get married in style, but also save marine animals, like penguins.

By renting Menguin’s suits for their wedding, brides and grooms will help support Oceana’s efforts to restore abundance, increase biodiversity and help penguins and other marine animals. As a thank you, couples will receive a stuffed penguin toy before their wedding, and those who wish to spread awareness about protecting the oceans will be able to name their penguin and share on social media.

“As tux guys, we have a special affinity for penguins not only because they’re so well-dressed, but also because they choose a mate for life,” said Justin Delaney, CEO of Menguin. “In the age of global warming, it’s our responsibility to launch pursuits that can change the world, not just tuxedo rental.”

MenguinFor Menguin, a company started by three millennial MBA students, this campaign is the latest example of their innovative approach to business. Since 2013, the company has revolutionized the frustrating tuxedo and suit shopping experience by creating an easy, affordable, and fast online rental service with stylish suits of every size, fit technology, helpful stylists and seamless delivery.

“We built Menguin to alleviate the stress of traditional tuxedo rental and make it worthy of a couple planning the biggest day of their lives,” said Nathan Bellah, cofounder of Menguin. “Now, we’re helping couples easily contribute to saving the environment without.”

As more and more couples want to decrease the environmental footprint of their wedding, Menguin’s support of Oceana is a great way for couples and their guests to help protect the oceans.

“Oceana is grateful that more companies and consumers are embracing philanthropy and helping us with our campaign work to return our oceans to former levels of health and abundance,” said Matt Littlejohn, SVP, Marketing at Oceana.
