Meet a Caribbean Wedding Vendor: Tania Tagle

Today our vendor spotlight is on Tania Tagle, a make-up artist based in Mexico. Get to meet her in our interview bellow.

How long have you been a make-up artist?

I’ve been a make-up artist for 12 years.

What do you enjoy the most about being a make-up artist?

Makeup is my passion, and I’m very grateful I get to do it every day of my life, every face is a new canvas where I get to express my creativity and art. The most important thing is getting out that inner goddess everyone has inside.

What are some of your accomplishments and experiences as a make-up artist in the Caribbean?

As a make-up artist in this area I’ve worked with people from all over the world, all types of skin and face features, and I really love to get to know about their wedding traditions, beliefs and cultures.

Also, I’ve worked with international celebrities and models in this area.

What are some of your favourite wedding make-up details?

Accessories are very important as they complete the look. I’ve seen great pieces for hair and amazing jewelry, they are a must, and as a bride you can also express your style choosing pieces that make you feel amazing.

Indian brides really understand that concept, they choose every accessory and look for their different events to enhance their beauty and looks, it’s all about the bride!

What inspires you to create new make-up looks?

Nature. I see perfection around me all the time, every bird, flower, sunrise, and animals. All have unique patterns and they really inspire me to create and let the energy flow through my hands. Music is a very important part of my work, there’s always beautiful music on when I’m working with a client.

Who’s your most memorable Caribbean Bride and why?

Wow! There are so many, I’ve made lifelong connections with most of them. Every bride has a very special piece of my heart. I’ve worked for one bride, then the sister’s wedding, or the friends wedding. That makes it extra special because I get to see them again being pregnant, talk about married life and how things have changed since we last saw each other. Amanda Morie is one of the brides who is really close to my heart. She is a really beautiful girl inside-out and a very talented painter. We have become really good friends and support each other in our careers.
