We are happy to announce the signing of Harbor Club St. Lucia, Curio Collection by Hilton, the brand’s first property on the island and a welcomed addition to Hilton’s expanding portfolio in the Caribbean. Owned by The Harbor Club Ltd., the nautically-inspired hotel is set to join Curio Collection by Hilton in April 2018. The property features 115 spacious cabin-style rooms and suites, 10 bars and dining outlets, four swimming pools, a spa, world class gym and meeting space.
“As our first Curio Collection by Hilton property in Saint. Lucia, the signing of Harbor Club speaks to our commitment to further expanding Hilton’s presence in the region,” said Gregory W. Rockett, vice president of corporate hotel development for Hilton. “Recognized as a luxurious destination in the Caribbean, Saint. Lucia continues to see an increase in tourist arrivals year after year, and we look forward to returning to the island and providing travelers with an authentic experience.”
Overlooking the harbor and nearby mountains, Harbor Club’s 115 elegant cabin-like rooms and suites boast a contemporary design with nautical elements through carefully selected fabrics and décor, inspired by Rodney Bay’s maritime heritage. Guests enjoy BVLGARI amenities, private terraces and direct swim-up access to select rooms.
With four bars and six distinct eateries, the hotel features everything from Italian fusion at Positano Santa Lucia, comfort cuisine at Julia’s and gourmet sushi at Crew Lounge on Sushi Deck, to coal fire oven pizza at the Dockside Pizzeria, home-baked creations at 7th Heaven and casual bites at Market Street Bar. For relaxation and recreation, guests will enjoy four swimming pools, a spa and first-class gym. Approximately 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space complete the facilities.
“The signing of Harbor Club reflects the values of Curio Collection by Hilton with distinct amenities such as direct swim-up access to guest rooms and bespoke treatments at The Spa,” said Mark Nogal, global head of Curio Collection by Hilton. “With the anticipated addition of this distinguished hotel to our global portfolio of nearly 50 hotels in more than 10 countries, we continue to expand the collection in the Caribbean and Latin America with remarkable properties that offer exceptional service and one-of-a-kind experiences for our guests.”
Located at Rodney Bay, Gros Islet in Saint. Lucia, the hotel is approximately 40 miles from Hewanorra International Airport. Less than 10 minutes away from Harbor Club, guests can explore Reduit Beach and Pigeon Island, a national landmark with military buildings and one-of-a-kind beaches across 44 scenic acres. The hotel provides complimentary water taxi service to Pigeon Island, where an exclusive area is available for Harbor Club guests.
“We are proud to partner with such a widely-recognized global hospitality company, particularly since the Curio Collection by Hilton pillars closely align with what we envision for the future of our hotel,” said Wes Hall, Owner of Harbor Club. “Through this alliance, we will introduce a new standard of upper upscale accommodation to travelers visiting Saint. Lucia.”
The iconic property will be managed by Caribbean Hotel Services LLC, an affiliate of Aimbridge Hospitality LLC – a recognized hospitality management leader in the Caribbean. “We are excited to manage this unrivaled hotel that truly defines an ultimate exclusive getaway in the Caribbean on the unspoiled island of Saint. Lucia,” said Dave Johnson, President and CEO, Aimbridge Hospitality. “Not only is our team designing personalized vacation experiences for our well-traveled guests of all ages, this island paradise offers an exotic array of nature and sporting activities, both at the hotel and its surrounding archipelago.”
