It’s always tough coming up with new ideas for a bachelorette party, especially if your group of friends has already attended multiple events. For new inspiration, we turned to The Bach, the only platform for planning bachelorette parties online. Founder Joanne Barken recommends turning to your favorite chick flicks for the perfect themes for your Caribbean bachelorette party.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Cyndi Lauper sings the truth! Get the girls together and dress up head to toe in 80’s gear. Don’t forget to crimp your hair and rock bright blue eye shadow. Head to the closest bar featuring an 80’s night and get your groove on with the bride-to-be.
Pirates of the Caribbean
Ok, so maybe it’s not exactly a chick-flick, but this Disney film is the perfect inspiration for a Caribbean bachelorette party. Hang out on the beach with the girls all day and then enjoy plenty of rum-based cocktails at a waterfront happy hour spot. Surprise the group with pirate-themed goody bags with fun snacks like chocolate gold coins and Pirate’s Booty.
Pitch Perfect
Do you catch the bride humming a cappella hits under her breath? Then be sure to add a karaoke bar to your bachelorette party itinerary. You and the girls can be the bride’s backup singers and help her belt out all of her favorite tunes. Consider reserving a private room so that even the shyest members of your group can let loose.
Blue Crush
Feeling motivated by these talented surfer girls? Plan an action-packed day filled with water sports and group lessons. You can rent Stand Up Paddle Boards, take a surfing lesson, go on a snorkeling trip, or try out parasailing. Your bachelorette crew will love working up a sweat and learning something new together.
Fool’s Gold
Love the idea of searching for buried treasure? Plan a scavenger hunt for your bachelorette group. Bury your own treasure for the bride and her friends to find (think makeup, statement jewelry, champagne, etc.). Brainstorm fun clues and incorporate little known facts about the bride and groom to keep everyone entertained.
