Maria & Andrew Cox's Wedding
Maria Del Mar Jones and Andrew Cox first met on a blind date in Nottinghill, London on the 12th of April 2003. It was a great match as they both realised how much they had in common, especially good food and wine.
Andrew proposed on the 14th of February 2006 after taking his lady to see a flamenco show at Saddlers Wells followed by dinner where he proposed three times in one breath. "I said yes straight away and promptly burst into tears. He choose a beautiful emerald cut diamond ring which I adore."
On April 12 2008 the couple celebrated their wedding day along with their 5th anniversary. The couple went for a fun, romantic, contemporary white & green with a fresh beach feel. Hints of coral and sea green, grape leaves with beach shells, and large sea shells filled with white anthuriums as center pieces. They opted for a happy, casual and informal celebration as guests had travelled from all over the world so they tried to keep the day simple with a few formalities and the best food! The dress code was smart, light and casual and many of the bride's girlfriend got into the tropical mood of wearing flowers in their hair which was such a lovely touch.
The bride wore a beautiful simple ivory empire design of four layers of silk tulle with gold and diamante beading designed by Manuelle Moto for Pronovias. Andrew wore a white suit from Hackett and shoes from Harvey Nichols. They were three flower girls and two ushers all in white and ivory.
The couple were married in St. Albans Church which is right on Tropicana beach. The church was intimate with a fantastic sea view and the sound of the sea gently caressing the shore line. After the service they had group photos on the Jitney Bus which then ferried the guests to the reception for cocktails and canapes where they were met by the stilt walkers and serenaded by sounds of the steel pan. After taking photographs on the beach the couple then arrived at the reception on the Jitney to be welcomed by all.
The evening included one of the most amazing sunsets the couple had ever seen and that set the stage for the rest of the night. A local barbecue, non-stop dancing and champagne capped off what was described as the most beautiful day of their lives.

Michelle & David Wild's Wedding
Congratulations to Michelle and David Wild who got married in Tobago on September 6th 2008. The couple traveled from London, England and the event took place at the fabulous island getaway to the stars, the Villas at Stonehaven.
Michelle wore a gown by Collezione Sposa and David wore Giorgio Armani. The couple describes it as a non-traditional affair as their aim was to make their guests feel as comfortable as possible in this romantic island setting.
The Caribbean BBQ which followed the ceremony included grilled mahi mahi, baby back pork ribs, homemade mango icecream, and rum soaked pineapple in banana leaves.
They were given an amazing surprise when Michelle’s Colombian family performed a traditional Colombian dance where three generations took part, from her youngest cousin (aged 4) to her grandfather.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Curacao and both stated the highlight was swimming with the dolphins at the Dolphin Academy.
Congratulations to our new Caribbean bride!...and David as well.

Dominic & Alicia Hill's Wedding
Newlyweds Dominic and Alicia Hill celebrated their nuptials in Barbados at the opulent beach front setting of Josef’s Restaurant in St. Lawrence Gap.
Dominic, a Barbadian, and Alicia a true Jamaican belle were introduced by a mutual friend at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies, and as they say… their future was written.
After completing their Undergradute studies, Alicia returned to her native Jamaica and Dominic stayed in Barbados; the pair however, continued the age old dance between Caribbean nationals for the next four years – inevitably resulting in yet another marriage of Caribbean cultures.
The wedding took place on August 7th 2004 on a typically beautiful afternoon in Barbados. Alicia wore a classic strapless A-line dress and Dominic chose the traditional black tuxedo with a white vest and tie.
The ceremony was intimate and memorable. The coming together of two lives, two families and lots of good friends; and thanks to an intimate but boisterous guest list hailing from across the region, dancing continued well into the night at the garden setting of the popular restaurant in the south of the island.
David and Lesa Conliffe's Wedding
David and Lesa Conliffe travelled from Toronto, Canada and got married on the 31st of July 2004 in their native home of Barbados.
The couple sought a traditional themed Caribbean wedding. They exchanged their vows in the elegant setting of Coverly Plantation House, just before sunset, when the lighting is soft and the breezes are cool and balmy on the south of the island.
Steel Pan music created the perfect Caribbean sound track as the two Canadian residents started their life together as man and wife.
David and Lesa planned the event to coincide with Barbados' Crop Over festival, so travelling guests could capture some of the spectacular carnival events going on all over the island.
